There are two reasonable ways to overcome this problem.
1) Run the printer driver setup software and disable the "EXCLUSIVE PORT" option. 2) Install the Security Key Drivers. The driver set installation program can be download from ONLINE UPDATE. It is the last selection.
The Security Key drivers will not always correct this problem. It may be necessary to disable the "EXCLUSIVE PORT" option in the printer dirver.
A less desireable solution is to add a second parallel port for the Security Key. A third is to disconnect the printer.
