Swimming pools which are chlorinated by electolysis require the addition of salt (NaCl). Does this mean that the levels of pH, alkalinity and calcium hardness should be adjusted from the usual recommended levels when Chlorine is added as a chemical, eg sodium hypochlorite, in order to avoid corrosion of the concrete?
