I recently did some research on a candy called "Pop-rocks" which pops and fizzles in your mouth like a soda drink (only more intense). I found out that the melted candy is combined with carbon dioxide at high pressure, then rapidly cooled. This makes the carbon dioxide pop when the candy melts.

I am a big reptile fan and love to deal with lizards, and snakes. I noticed that many reptiles will only eat live prey and refuse to eat dry foods (which basically looks like dog food). However, if you simply shake a bowl with reptile food in it, the reptile will attack it. I think it would be cool if you could add something or use some process to make the reptile food move to interest the animals.

Could you use the Pop-rock "technology" or any other process to make reptile food move, vibrate, or pop to simulate live prey???
