Inhibitor Formulation

Computer Assisted Inhibitor Modeling

Ready to reformulate? Computer modeling with French Creek Software saves development and implementation time.

Product Manager, Formulator and Laboratory Editions of French Creek Software products allow a user to input custom anti-scalants formulations, then model their performance for a given water.

Formulating new products using computer modeling takes as little as a few minutes.

  1. Identify Treatment's Needs
What is your target operating range? Using a few simple rules, create the multifunctional inhibitor perfect for a given region or water source.
  2. Select Appropriate Materials
Many materials have "niches" where their performance is best. Once you know the necessary treatment range for your product, select materials that best fit.
  3. Enter % Actives
French Creek product input forms allow a user to select a material then enter its dilution, creating a product file.
  4. Select Product & Model Dosage
Once your new Product file is saved, enter a water analysis then select your new product. View the dosage and the treatment's limits in a series of engaging, thorough color coded graphs and tables.

  1. Create Product File »
Product files are made up of various inhibitor models. They are used to model effectiveness and dosages for a given analysis.
  2. Select 'Product' to Model »
After using DownHole SAT for scale potential assessment, select a previously made Product File to view a products range and for dosage recommendations.
  3. Color Coded Graphs »
DownHole SAT enables a user to view a treatment's optimal range via color coding:
    indicates safe range

indicates mild problem if conditions change

warns to check measurements, nearing trouble

indicates a problem is likely, take corrective action

warns of a problem. Remedial action required.
