Installing a program is simple and intuitive. All you need is an installation file and an internet connection (for activation).
- CD Installation: insert compact disc and click on the Setup.exe File and click ‘Run’
Internet Link:Click the download link and select ‘Save’. It is important to click ‘Save’ and not install from the internet. Once the setup file is downloaded, right click and select ‘Run as Administrator’. - The installation program will then open. Select any applicable options. If in doubt, just use the defaults. Let the software sit as the program installs. This may take up to five minutes. If the software says “Not Responding”, please be patient, it is still installing.
- After clicking ‘Finish’, the installation program is complete. Open the software from the Start Menu > Programs > French Creek.
- The software will open and display a box with licensing information. Click ‘Ok’ if you agree to terms. Software licenses are available in the PDF manuals included in the download as well online at www.frenchcreek.net/online-library
- After clicking ‘Ok’ and agreeing to terms, the first time you open the software it will generate and display a 26 character SYSTEM ID. This is French Creek’s security SYSTEM. Each new installation will require a new RELEASE CODE, provided by French Creek. Each SYSTEM ID is unique to each installation and will require a unique RELEASE CODE.To get a RELEASE CODE, press COPY ID or highlight and manually copy the SYSTEM ID and paste it into the contact form at www.frenchcreek.net/contact
- French Creek will return a RELEASE CODE via email to complete activation, generally within 24 hours.
If receiving software via download link, it is recommended to also save the installation file to a CD or thumb drive for backup
