WaterCycle® and WaterCycle R_x Version 6 NOW AVAILABLE

Kimberton, PA (23 January 2007) French Creek Software announced the release of version 6.0 of their WaterCycle® series for cooling water evaluation and treatment optimization. New features include:

The evaluation of additional scales including calcium pyrophosphate, zinc pyrophosphate, and zinc phosphate;
Calculation of maximum soluble zinc, orthophosphate, and pyrophosphate as an aid in optimizing zinc and phosphate based treatments;
Multiple product evaluations capabilities have been added to the Rx series. Users can select two independent products, such as a phosphate corrosion inhibitor package and a phosphate stabilization product for optimization over the entire operating range of a system.

Version 6 is the first release in a planned progression of updates to increase the versatility of the WaterCycle series. Features slated for the next release include:

Windows Vista® certification.
Product limit “popups” allow users to find the reason for product warnings. Users can click a bar in a graph, or select a show limits menu item, to elucidate the reason for warnings and failure indications.

Other features slated for future release include the addition of Ba and Sr based scales and a makeup water pretreatment module which allows blending of water streams for cooling water make-up. Automatic updates form the internet are included with the French Creek Annual Maintenance program.

French Creek Software, Inc announces the release of version 4.0 for their industry standard WaterCycle series for cooling water, and DownHole series for oil field brines and mixtures, and hyd-RO-dose for membrane systems.

Key features of the upgraded software include:

Printouts reformatted to includes logos, improved fonts.
New inhibitor models including zinc and pyrophosphate.

Updates are free to users with active Annual Maintenance agreements. Updates are also available to those whose Annual Maintenance has lapsed (pricing).

WatSim for Windows
French Creek Software proudly announces the release of the water quality simulation and treatment modeling software WatSim for municipal drinking water systems. WatSim incorporates the methods outlined by the E.P.A. Drinking Water Research Center with the predictive accuracy and ease of use of the French Creek Software ion association model. WatSim models the impact of treatment, including pH adjustment and inhibitors, upon Lead and Copper levels, corrosion and scale. Three D plots of projected copper and lead levels are included. hyd-RO-sat and hyd-RO-dose for Windows
French Creek Software proudly announces the release of the water chemistry and scale inhibitor modeling software for reverse osmosis systems. WaterCycle users have been modeling reverse osmosis systems since the programs release almost ten years ago. The hyd-RO-sat series incorporates requests from these users into a made for RO system. French Creek Software proudly announces the release of the Chlorine-Bromine Slide Rule. This easy to use program recommends the equivalent bromine level required to achieve equivalent kill.
